While on the rapid rise\, an epidemic\, a cracked tooth is still not a diagnosis but a clinical finding. This course aims to address how to identify\, diagnose\, and manage different types of cracks based on the latest evidence-based approach\, providing clinicians a guideline as we navigate the tough topic and situations that we encounter every day in our clinical practice.Learning Objectives:1. How do we restore cracked teeth with maximum predictability – the latest protocol.About Dr. Jae Woo Cho\, DDS:Dr. Jaewoo Cho grew up in Southern California and received his degree in biochemistry from UC Riverside\, where he was voted the student body Homecoming King in his senior year. Due to his leadership\, high GPA\, and countless hours of community service\, he was given the Man of the Year award twice in back-to-back years. His achievements landed him at a top dental school in the world. He graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA School of Dentistry as a top student in clinic with interests in advanced general dentistry including root canal treatments and oral surgery (dental implants and extractions including wisdom teeth).He takes pride in being able to provide both the tried-and-true procedures that have withstood the test of time (such as partial gold restorations) and the latest evidence-based treatments (such as biomimetic and bonding dentistry).Dr. Cho is also the member of fifteen (15) professional dental affiliations. Interestingly\, Dr. Cho is fluent in English\, Korean\, semi-fluent in Spanish\, and conversational in French and Mandarin Chinese.Modern Bioactive Restorations featuring Todd Snyder\, DDS12:00 P.M- 4:00 P.M\, 4 CEUA lot of emphasis is placed on utilizing resin based restorative materials when a tooth-colored direct restoration is necessary. However\, in some instances a different form of bioactive tooth colored restorative materials should be considered. There are many benefits to utilizing bioactive materials as direct restorations compared to traditional resin technologies or even cements. Their unique material properties allow them to have distinct advantages that few other materials can share. In this program traditional resin technology will be discussed as to its limitations and how bioactive materials can be used as a better substitution for your patients in some situations.Learning Objectives:1. Learn how they provide an advantage to restoring teethAbout Dr. Todd Snyder\, DDS\, FAACD\, FIADFE\, ASDA\, ABAD:Dr. Todd C. Snyder received his doctorate in dental surgery at the UCLA School of Dentistry and trained at the F.A.C.E. institute for complex gnathological (functional) and temporomandibular joint disorders. Dr. Snyder is the 77th Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry\, the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics\, the American Society for Dental Aesthetics and a Diplomat of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr. Snyder has been on the faculty at U.C.L.A. where he helped create and co-direct the first (in the world) two-year graduate program in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Snyder lectures both nationally and internationally on numerous aspects of dental materials\, techniques\, equipment\, marketing\, technology & business. He is a consultant for numerous dental manufacturing companies. Dr. Snyder has been published and featured in many books and dental journals worldwide.
